Cebu Pacific Domestic Flights Expanded in Leisure Markets
Cebu Pacific Domestic Flights Added to Boracay, Busuanga, and Davao-Zamboanga Cebu Pacific (CEB), will mount additional frequencies to Boracay (Caticlan), Busuanga (Coron, Palawan), and for its Davao-Zamboanga service in anticipation of strong demand in the summer season. Starting March 25, CEB will increase its Manila-Boracay (Caticlan) service to 77-times weekly from 56-times weekly. The airline also up its Cebu-Caticlan frequency to twice daily from once daily. Cebu Pacific domestic flights will also be added to its Manila-Busuanga service, making it a twice daily service. It will also increase the frequency of its Davao-Zamboanga service to daily from four-times weekly. The airline will use its eighth ATR 72-500 aircraft to mount these additional flights in time for the summer peak.
 This brings CEB’s weekly domestic flights to 1,206 from 1,152.“We hope to continue stimulating air travel in these leisure destinations,” Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution, said. “Aside from the increased frequencies, CEB will still offer its low fares and brand new aircraft to its passengers. We hope that this will draw more local and foreign tourists to these areas,” Iyog added. The lowest year round ‘Go Lite’ fare to Boracay (Caticlan) starts P1,188 all-in while its Manila-Busuanga fares starts from P788 all-in. Davao-Zamboanga all-in ‘Go Lite’ fare starts from P1,348. Iyog concluded, “We encourage travelers to book their flights early through CEB’s website, www.cebupacificair.com , or through their nearest travel agent.” Cebu Pacific flies to Catarman and Virac; Starts Cebu-Legaspi service Cebu Pacific (CEB) started its Manila-Catarman, Manila-Virac, and Cebu-Legaspi services February 14, using its seventh brand new ATR 72-500 aircraft.The new Cebu Pacific domestic flights flies four times weekly, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The lowest year-round Go Lite fare is P1,188 all in. Operating to new destinations from Manila, namely Catarman in Samar, Leyte and Virac in Catanduanes, Bicol, is part of the airline’s nation building efforts. “CEB is continuously expanding its domestic network because we want to help boost development within the country by linking islands together through an affordable means of transportation,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing and distribution. “Easier access via Cebu Pacific domestic flights to these areas can lead to more vibrant tourism and business activities. “A faster, affordable and more convenient way to get to Samar and Catanduanes encourages people to go home to their provinces more often. This increases the airline’s total number of weekly flights from Cebu, its second hub, to 412 from 406. Currently, CEB is the only airline that flies between Visayas and Bicol. The new service will fly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. CEB’s Manila-Calbayog flights are sold at ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P1,188 all in. Operating to new cities like Calbayog is part of the airline’s nation building efforts. “CEB is continuously expanding its Cebu Pacific domestic flights network because we want to help boost development within the country by linking islands together through an affordable means of transportation,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing and distribution. “Easier access to these areas can lead to more vibrant tourism and business activities. “A faster, affordable and more convenient way to get to Samar encourages people to go home to their provinces more often. It now has a fleet of 10 A319, 11 A320, and seven ATR 72-500 aircraft.
